So, I never really thought I had an addiction to anything. But, I'd be fooling myself if I thought I didn't have a major addiction to sugar. Other than my sugar addiction I take pretty good care of myself. I exercise 5-6 days a week, drink lots of water, and eat a well balanced diet. Easter is one of the hardest times for me when it comes to sugary temptations. I eat endless amounts of Peeps and Cadbury eggs. After each snack of Peeps and Cadbury eggs lately I have been experiencing a really bad sugar low. My body really hasn't ever handled sugar very well. So, after a lot of thinking I have set a goal for myself starting yesterday to go 4 weeks without all of the extra sugars, such as candy and desserts. This will really be a shock to my body. But, I'm curious to see what will power I have and how my body will feel and react. So, it's official. I have put it in writing. Now I have to follow through!
